Fentanyl Awareness Spring Program
Palmdale, CA.-Antelope Valley youth ages 12 to 17 are invited to attend a three-day fentanyl awareness program at Palmdale Oasis Park Recreation Center or Lancaster Community Center.
The Fentanyl Awareness Spring Program will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 26-28 at the two centers, which are at 3850 East Ave. S, Palmdale, and 44611 Yucca Ave., Lancaster.
Lunch and water will be provided.
The program will cover personal self-management skills, general social skills and drug resistance skills.
The program will help students develop strategies for making healthy decisions, reducing stress and managing anger, help them strengthen their communication skills, learn how to build healthy relationships and understand the consequences of substance abuse, risk-taking and influences of the media.
