Family Movie Nights Return to the Palmdale Amphitheater


PALMDALE, CA – The City of Palmdale is excited to announce the return of Family Movie Nights! Grab your costumes and get ready for an unforgettable cinematic adventure under the stars at the Palmdale Amphitheater!

 

“Quality time with friends and family is so important. We are excited to bring the community together for an experience under the stars,” said Mayor Austin Bishop. “There is no better way to spend a summer evening than enjoying fresh air with your loved ones and neighbors.”   

 

Movie nights kick off on Friday, July 12 with a screening of The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Then, get ready to groove on Friday, August 2 with Trolls Band Back Together. Witness the clash of elements on Friday, August 23 with Elemental and end the summer with a bang on Friday, August 30 featuring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.

 

Gates open at 6 p.m., so bring a lawn chair or a blanket and join us for free family activities before the movies begin at dusk. Tickets are available online only. Admission for adults is $4, kids 12 and under are free but must have a ticket. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. 

 

“I hope residents take advantage of the beautiful summer nights in Palmdale by coming out to these showings,” said Mayor Pro Tem Richard Loa. “Events like these highlight the vibrant community spirit of Palmdale. We look forward to seeing residents of all ages come out, enjoy the entertainment and connect with their neighbors.”

 

Looking to make the outing a family picnic? Food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome. Snack vendors will be on-site for your convenience, accepting Visa, MasterCard and Discover (no cash accepted). Please note that all bags and coolers will be inspected at the entrance gate and alcohol and pets are not permitted.
