ESTEAM Summer Camp returns to Lake Los Angeles

Lake Los Angeles -Stephen Sorensen Community Regional Park – Following in the sunshine of success from 2025, ESTEAM is returning to our community.

This ESTEAM Camp engages youth in interactive, hands-on experiences that explore Environment, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (ESTEAM) in a fun and meaningful way. It is an 8-week program running Monday-Friday from 7:00am-6:00pm. The program fosters creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork while introducing campers to future career pathways and real-world applications. The parent orientation presented all of these goals to the parents and guardians.
The orientation documentation stated: “By making learning exciting and accessible, ESTEAM Camp is designed to help build confidence, strengthen social skills, and inspire lifelong learning, preparing youth for success in school, careers, and life beyond.”
The takeaway from this incredibly successful and fulfilling program in 2025 is each and every child was fully engaged, they learned teamwork, practiced their teamwork skills daily and absorbed collaborative learning and critical thinking which were key aspects of the program.

• The students will enjoy incredible opportunities to explore unusual activities and programs. With a focus on hands-on, interactive experiences, the ESTEAM Summer Camp offers a variety of engaging options that encourage exploration and discovery. Each activity is carefully designed to promote creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork, ensuring every participant has the chance to grow and learn in a supportive environment.
• Through these distinctive experiences, campers gain exposure to new concepts in Environment, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. This unique approach not only makes learning exciting and accessible but also helps build confidence and inspire a lifelong passion for learning.
• As in the past, the older students often take on the role of assistance to the younger students which reflects on how we build communities that care.
