Lancaster, CA.- The Lancaster Police Department remains committed to keeping our roads safe through a combination of education, enforcement, and community partnership.
On Saturday, August 15, 2026, LPD conducted a DUI Checkpoint with assistance from Los Angeles County Probation Officers.

Here are the results:
3 drivers arrested for DUI
One arrested driver had a BAC of .27%
21 citations issued for driving without a valid driver’s license (CVC 12500(a))
6 citations issued for driving with a suspended/revoked license (CVC 14601.1(a))
9 vehicles towed
These enforcement efforts are part of LPD’s ongoing impaired-driving prevention program supported by the California Highway Patrol Cannabis Tax Fund Grant, which was awarded to the City of Lancaster earlier this year.
We encourage everyone to make responsible choices before getting behind the wheel. If you’re impaired, don’t drive. Plan ahead, designate a sober driver, use a rideshare service, or find another safe way home.
