“Do You Know Her? Coroner Seeks Family of Former Lancaster Resident”

LANCASTER, Calif. — The Fresno County Sheriff–Coroner’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating relatives of 66-year-old Mary Ann Josey, who recently passed away from natural causes.

According to officials, Josey previously lived in Lancaster, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Authorities are hoping someone in the Antelope Valley community may recognize her name or have information about her family.

Coroner’s Office staff have searched numerous personal records but have been unsuccessful in contacting her relatives.

Locating immediate family members is necessary for the Coroner’s Unit to release her body and make arrangements for a proper burial.

Can the Antelope Valley Community Help?

Do you remember Mary Ann Josey? Did you know her or her family while she lived in Lancaster?

Anyone with information about her relatives is encouraged to contact the Fresno County Coroner’s Unit directly.
