Deputy-Involved Shooting Under Investigation in Lancaster

LANCASTER, Calif. — Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department homicide detectives are investigating a deputy-involved shooting Monday morning in the 44000 block of 15th Street West.

Deputies responded to a domestic violence call around 9:46 a.m. involving a man who was allegedly armed with a handgun and holding his ex-wife in a headlock.

The man was struck by deputy gunfire and transported to a local hospital. No deputies were injured.
