Congratulations Senior High School Class of 2024

Palmdale, CA. I The AV Daily News staff and advertisers are proud to recognize the hundreds of our local students who graduated from our local High Schools.

From May through June hundreds of students from our local High Schools are marking the transition from high school to college, career, military or trade school.

We are proud of you and your accomplishments and dedication .

We wish them the very best in their new journey and future endeavors and they deserve the best of luck in their new adventure.

Cruz Anthony, Highland High School Graduate

Cruz Anthony Herrera was an early admit to UCLA. He was one of the 1 percent recipients for the Regents Scholar award and he also was given the Optimist Grant. Cruz Anthony will study in the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music his major being Global Jazz Studies. Cruz Anthony wishes to pursue higher academics and develop more as a drummer/percussionist. Cruz Anthony plans on returning to the Antelope Valley to continue his charitable work. He hopes to grow into an educational influencer for the promising jazz students in the AV within the public school system and implement programs for jazz performance and music education for children in the community. He has spent the last two years taking his band AV Jazz Project and playing for non profits and hopes to expand his giving to other communities.

Alyssa Castellanos Quartz Hill High School Graduate

She will be attending UC Santa Cruz to play golf and will major in Education Democracy and Justice to become an elementary school teacher.

Eduardo Hernandez-Loera , Littlerock High School Graduate .

He will be attending CSUN in the fall and will study criminal justice.

Coltrane Duggan, Littlerock High School Graduate

Amberlee Calderon , Palmdale High School Graduate

Elias E Sanchez, Pete Knight High School Graduate

He is enlisting in the Marines to serve his country.

Michael Jamall Johnson Jr. , Highland High School Graduate 2024

He plans is to work in the Aerospace Industry , he will study locally at AVC and also plans to work.

His family is very proud of his achievements , Mike is autistic so this was a huge accomplishment that he was able to graduated in time with his class.

He is joining the navy , to become a mechanical engineer.
