PALMDALE, CA — The City of Palmdale invites all residents to celebrate community spirit at a free Neighborhood Watch event on Monday, Oct. 6, at Marie Kerr Park recreation center from 6-8 p.m. The evening will feature family-friendly activities and helpful safety resources designed to bring neighbors closer together.
The evening will feature free delicious treats while supplies last, creative face painting, energetic DJ performances and live music. Attendees will have the opportunity to win a free Ring camera while connecting with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies and Public Safety Officers who patrol Palmdale’s streets.
Councilmember Richard J. Loa will join residents at the event to discuss District 2 priorities and connect with families from across the City for an evening of community building and public safety awareness.
“Our neighborhood events create the perfect opportunity for residents to get to know each other and the law enforcement officers who keep everyone safe,” said Mayor Pro Tem Laura Bettencourt. “Safety is everyone’s responsibility, and through this event, we are making sure that every member of our community has access to the tools and resources they need.”
