City of Palmdale Seeks Summer Concert Series Volunteers

PALMDALE, CA — The City of Palmdale is seeking 25 enthusiastic and professional volunteers for the upcoming Summer Concert Series at the Palmdale Amphitheater. The volunteers will receive one free ticket to a concert of their choice and experience the joy of serving alongside others in the community. Individuals will assist with checking IDs and serving alcohol during the concerts and help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience at these highly anticipated events.

 

“Volunteering at our Summer Concert Series is a great way to connect with our vibrant community and help make this event a success,” said Mayor Richard J. Loa. “We’re looking forward to welcoming volunteers who will help create a positive and safe experience for everyone.”

 

Volunteers must meet several requirements, including being at least 21 years old, being capable of standing for over four hours and completing a mandatory alcohol server training provided by the City. Volunteers must also pass a fingerprint scan, undergo a brief interview and attend a special event training hosted in June. 

 

Volunteers must be available to attend at least four of the seven concert dates, and additional dates may be announced:

·       Saturday, July 19

·       Saturday, July 26

·       Saturday, August 9

·       Saturday, August 16

·       Saturday, August 23

·       Friday, October 10

·       Saturday, October 11

“Our Summer Concert Series is one of Palmdale’s most anticipated events, and our volunteers play an essential role,” said Mayor Pro Tem Laura Bettencourt. “It’s wonderful when residents get involved to help make it a success. We encourage everyone, especially music lovers, to join us and be part of this special community event.”
