City of Palmdale Road Construction Update.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 5 THROUGH APRIL 11, 2021

GENERAL ROAD CONSTRUCTION:

1 – State Route 138 and Avenue R-8

Intermittent lane closures with the traffic signal flashing red at times (four-way stop) for Caltrans signal modifications, pole replacement and conduit installation. Please slow down for the construction zone and expect delays.

2 - Avenue T, east of Pearblossom Highway/Fort Tejon Road

Shoulder closures on Avenue T, east of Pearblossom Hwy/Fort Tejon Rd. Please slow down for the construction zone and expect delays.

3 – 35th Street East and Avenue R

Lane closures for storm drain improvements. Signal will be flashing red (4 way stop). Please slow down for the construction zone and expect delays.

4 – Avenue Q from 9th Street East to 20thStreet East

Intermittent shoulder closures along Avenue Q from 9th Street East to 20th Street East for utility work.

5 – Sierra Highway and Avenue R

Lane closure on Sierra Highway from 600 feet north of Avenue R to 2000 feet south of Avenue R for sewer construction. Please slow down for the construction zone and expect delays.

6 – Avenue O-8 and 11th Street West

Intermittent lane closure for utility and street improvements. Please slow down for the construction zone and expect delays.

7 – 10th Street West and Avenue N

Intermittent lane closure for shoulder and street work.

8 – Rancho Vista Boulevard and Town Center Drive

Intermittent lane closure for utility and street improvements. Please slow down, obey the traffic control, and expect delays.

9 – Division Street and Avenue R

Intermittent lane closures for street and utility construction. Please slow down, obey the traffic control, and expect delays. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

10 – 35th Street East from Palmdale Boulevard to Avenue Q-10

New traffic pattern. The traffic signal has been completed and is now in full automatic operation.
