City of Palmdale Road Construction Update

ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 1 THROUGH MARCH 7, 2021

GENERAL ROAD CONSTRUCTION:

1 – Palmdale Boulevard and 12th Street East

Closed heading north. Detour in place for utility construction. Please slow down for the construction zone and expect delays.

2 – Avenue R and 15th Street East

Intermittent lane closure for utility work. Lane closure on 15th Street East north of Avenue R with flagged traffic for utility work. Please slow down for the construction zone and expect delays.

3 – Sierra Highway and Avenue R

Lane closure on Sierra Highway from 600 feet north of Avenue R to 2000 south of Avenue R for sewer construction. Please slow down for the construction zone and expect delays.

4 – Avenue R-8 and 40th Street East

Intermittent lane closures northbound on 40th for utility improvements. Traffic signal may be flashing red (4 way stop) at times for certain phases of the traffic control plan. Please slow down for the construction zone and expect delays.

5 – Avenue O-8 and 10th Street West

Intermittent lane closure for utility and street improvements. Traffic signal may be flashing red (4 way stop) at times for certain phases of the traffic control plan. Please slow down for the construction zone and expect delays.

6 – 10th Street West and Avenue N

Intermittent lane closure for shoulder and street work.

7 – Rancho Vista Boulevard and Town Center Drive

Intermittent lane closure for utility and street improvements. Please slow down, obey the traffic control, and expect delays.

8 – Rancho Vista Boulevard from 15th Street West to 30th Street West

There will be intermittent lane closures for various remaining street work. Please slow down, obey the traffic control, and expect delays. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

9 – Division Street and Avenue R
