City of Palmdale Offices Closed for MLK Observance

PALMDALE, CA – In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the City of Palmdale’s administrative and business offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 19. Regular business hours, 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m., will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 20. 

 

Public works crews will continue to respond to emergencies during the closure, including sewer overflows, roadway hazards, downed tree limbs or signs, potholes and broken sprinkler lines in City parks and landscaped areas. Residents may report emergencies by calling 661/267-5338 or online at www.CityOfPalmdaleCA.gov/Report.

 

Legacy Commons for Active Seniors will be closed Monday, Jan. 19, and boxed lunches will not be available for pickup. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 20. Seniors can sign up for the regular lunch program by calling 661/948-2820.

 

South Antelope Valley Emergency Services (SAVES) remains closed for appointments until Monday, Feb. 2. Drive-thru food distribution will not be offered on Monday, Jan., 19 but will resume Tuesday, Jan. 20. The Palmdale City Library will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19, and will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 20, with regular hours.  Online library services and materials, such as HelpNow Online Tutoring and cloudLibrary, remain available anytime at www.CityOfPalmdaleCA.gov/Library.

 

Many City services are available online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Residents may register for Parks and Recreation programs at www.PlayPalmdale.com, and purchase Palmdale Playhouse show tickets at www.PalmdalePlayhouse.com. Parking and administrative citations may be paid online at www.CityOfPalmdaleCA.gov/Citations. Business licenses may be paid online by visiting www.CityOfPalmdaleCA.gov/BusinessLicense.

Depuis que je marche beaucoup au quotidien, notamment pour aller au travail ou faire du sport en extérieur, je me suis rendu compte que mes chaussettes classiques ne tenaient pas la route.
