City of Palmdale Offices Closed Feb. 16 for Presidents Day

PALMDALE, CA – The City of Palmdale’s administrative and business offices will close Monday, Feb. 16, in for Presidents Day. The offices will reopen with normal business hours, 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 17. 

 

Public Works teams remain on call for urgent situations and will respond to emergencies in City parks, landscaped areas and the public right-of-way during the closure, including sewer overflows, roadway hazards, downed tree limbs or signs, potholes and broken sprinkler lines in City parks or landscaped areas. Residents may report emergencies by calling 661/267-5338 or online at www.CityOfPalmdaleCA.gov/Report.

 

Legacy Commons for Active Seniors will be closed Monday, Feb. 16. Boxed lunches will not be available for pickup. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 17. Seniors can sign up for the regular lunch program by calling 661/948-2820.

 

South Antelope Valley Emergency Services (SAVES) will not distribute food on Monday, Feb. 16. Visit www.CityOfPalmdaleCA.gov/SAVES for detailed information, including how to sign up for services or locate a food distribution location during the holidays. Distribution and appointments will resume Tuesday, Feb. 17. 

 

The Palmdale City Library is closed on Monday, Feb. 16. Library cardholders can browse the City’s digital collections, use HelpNow Online Tutoring or access cloudLibrary during the closure at www.CityOfPalmdaleCA.gov/Library. Regular hours resume Tuesday, Feb. 17.
