CERT training coming to Lake Los Angeles

Lake Los Angeles – And the good news is, CERT training is coming back to Lake Los Angeles. CERT basic training will be offered on Saturdays, October 8, October 15 and October 22.

The training venue will be Twin Lakes Community Church located at 17213 Lake Los Angeles Avenue. The Los Angeles County Fire Department and Antelope Valley CERT will present this free training program.

The purpose of this training, and to be part of the LLA CERT team, is to provide basic training in safety and life-saving skills for the general public, your fellow LLA residents and any other person who might need your skills be it on the roads or elsewhere.

The classes start at 8:00am and end at 5:00pm. Water and snacks will be provided. You must attend all three classes to be certified and receive your certificate of completion.
