PALMDALE, CA — The Palmdale Playhouse will transform into a festive Celtic celebration Friday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. as residents gather to salute “Halfway to St. Paddy’s Day,” featuring Irish folk band Mayde in Ireland.

No four-leaf clovers are needed to keep the fun flowing! The evening promises an authentic Irish experience of traditional music, heartfelt ballads and toe-tapping melodies that will have the audience clapping along. Attendees are encouraged to wear green and their best Irish attire to help celebrate St. Patrick’s Day for a second time this year.

“We have a lot to celebrate in our City and cultural events like this help bring us together,” said Mayor Pro Tem Laura Bettencourt. “Whether your family tree has roots in Ireland or you simply appreciate great music, this performance offers something special for everyone.”

Mayde in Ireland is a local, six-member band that delivers rich, traditional Irish sounds using authentic Celtic instruments. Their performances blend classic folk melodies with contemporary music to create an atmosphere that welcomes enthusiasts of Irish music and curious newcomers.
