LANCASTER, CA — The City of Lancaster has completed its ballot count for the April 14 General Municipal Election, with voters selecting Cedric White and Rocio Castellanos to fill two at-large seats on the City Council.
Final Vote Totals:
Cedric White: 3,570 votes, 21.99%
Rocio Castellanos: 3,438 votes, 21.17%
White and Castellanos held the top two spots in the seven-candidate race, securing four-year terms on the Council.
“This campaign has always been about uplifting every part of our community, and I’m truly humbled to have earned the trust of our residents,” said Castellanos. “Thank you to everyone who believed in our vision for our great city. The future of Lancaster is bright. Our work is not over — it’s just beginning. I’m ready to get to work improving the quality of life for our hardworking families.”
The election will be certified and the newly elected councilmembers will be sworn in on April 28. Following the swearing-in, White and Castellanos will begin their terms serving the community of Lancaster.
The City extended its appreciation to all candidates who participated in the election and to the residents who made their voices heard by voting.
