Lancaster, CA.- Cedric White a Lancaster Resident, Business Owner and Community Leader has announced his candidacy for Lancaster City Council in the Tuesday April 14th Election.

As a Lancaster resident of 25+ years Cedric has built a reputation as a collaborative and results-driven leader, working across sectors to influence policy, support community-based initiatives, and elevate voices that are often underrepresented. Whether serving at the local, regional, or national level, he brings integrity, vision, and a hands-on approach to every role he undertakes.

Cedric is a dedicated public servant and community leader whose life’s work reflects a deep commitment to uplifting underserved communities and creating pathways for opportunity. Born and raised in Compton, California, Cedric developed an early understanding of the challenges facing urban communities, an understanding that would later fuel his passion for advocacy, leadership, and service.

I am running because I have the knowledge, experience, opportunity and leadership skills to work with our community residents of all ages who want to see change. 

A proud alumnus of the University of Washington and North Carolina A&T State University, Cedric combines academic insight with real-world experience to drive meaningful change. His leadership spans civic service, nonprofit development, and national advocacy, with a consistent focus on improving health outcomes, empowering youth, and strengthening economic opportunities for Lancaster residents.
