Palmdale, CA.- A big rig carrying Teslas caught on fire on the Golden State Freeway I-5 South between I-210 and Roxford St/Exit 159 California.

The fire and smoke from the truck caused the closure of southbound traffic. The incident was reported at 5:42 PM. Initially, a SigAlert was extended for an unknown period of time, as the batteries in the vehicles may continue to burn for an unknown duration.
