Barger and Baby2Baby Partnership Brings Toys, Diapers to Antelope Valley Families
Los Ángeles , CA.-, Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger and Baby2Babyjointly announced that families with babies who attend the Winter Wonderland event this Saturday at Stephen Sorensen Park in Lake Los Angeles will receive toys, diapers, wipes, and other basic necessities–in addition to the other giveaways planned for older children–in an effort to bring both holiday cheer and resources to families in need.
“I am thrilled that Baby2Baby will provide diapers and toys for some of the tiniest guests who will be at Winter Wonderland in Lake Los Angeles,” said Supervisor Kathryn Barger. “Holiday events like this one celebrate and support communities. It’s important to mobilize resources that alleviate some of the financial stress families are facing. Strong partnerships with community-based organizations like Baby2Baby make a big difference in making that goal a reality.”
“We are delighted to partner with Supervisor Barger to provide basic essentials and toys to children in the Fifth District this winter,” shared Baby2Baby Co-CEOs Norah Weinstein and Kelly Sawyer Patricof. "Gifts are not an option for many families who are still struggling with the financial repercussions of the pandemic, the formula shortage, and more. Being able to provide presents this time of year ensures children have the opportunity to experience the magic of the holidays."

Thank you to Baby2Baby for providing additional resources for families at Stephen Sorensen Park and to Supervisor Barger for making this connection.”
