Palmdale, CA.- On Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, the Antelope Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce honored outstanding Hispanic individuals who have inspired and enriched their community through their remarkable achievements, leadership, and cultural contributions.
The event celebrated the achievements of Hispanic leaders across various professions, emphasizing their significant contributions to shaping the Antelope Valley and surrounding communities.

The Palmdale School District presented and discussed the Palmdale Academy Charter High School, and its collaboration with actor Edward James Olmos. They also discussed the new Youth Cinema Project Building.

Superintendent Maldonado underscored the significance of career technical jobs in Cinema.. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of training them not only for acting roles but also behind-the-scenes.

Their next event will be a celebration of Dia de Los Muertos.
