At-Risk Missing Children Alert Issued in Lancaster; Detectives Seek Public’s Help

LANCASTER, Calif. — Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two at-risk missing children who authorities say were abducted by their father on Wednesday evening.

According to investigators, 9-year-old twins Solomon Sukonick and Marozhina Sukonick were allegedly abducted by their father, David Sukonick, on July 23, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m., near the 1000 block of West Avenue J-8 in Lancaster.

Marozhina Sukonick is described as a 9-year-old white female, approximately 4 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 90 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing pink shorts and a white shirt.

Solomon Sukonick is described as a 9-year-old white male, approximately 4 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 90 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue shorts and an unknown-colored shirt.

The children’s father, David Sukonick, is described as a 71-year-old white male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

Authorities believe they were last seen traveling in a black 2011 Lincoln Town Car bearing California license plate SOLOYST.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says there is concern for the children’s safety and well-being and is urging anyone who may have seen the vehicle or has information about their whereabouts to come forward immediately.
