Apply for The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Board

PALMDALE, CA — Put your experience to work supporting students and helping guide The Palmdale Aerospace Academy (TPAA). The City of Palmdale invites residents to apply for two non-paid positions on the Academy’s Board of Directors.

Directors bring their professional knowledge and perspectives to decisions that support the Academy's educational mission. The Board values experience in areas including curriculum, instruction, assessment, finance, business management, special education, law, facilities and governance.

Applicants must reside within the City of Palmdale. Members must commit to attending regular Board meetings, participating in fundraising efforts and special events and completing professional development activities.

One director will serve a new three-year term ending July 31, 2029. The other will complete an unexpired term ending July 31, 2028. The Board meets twice each month on the second and fourth Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at TPAA, 3300 E.
