Antelope Valley,Ca.-County, City and Law enforcement crews continued to monitor road conditions . And some roads had re-opened.

* Avenue N from 50th St E to 70th St E has reopened as of 3/17/23
* Avenue O from 110th St E to 145th St E has reopened as of 3/17/23
* Avenue Q from 130th St E to 145th St E remains closed
* 70th St E from Palmdale Blvd to Ave N has reopened as of 3/17/23
* 140th St E from Avenue Q to Palmdale Blvd remains closed
* 150th St E from Avenue M to Avenue M-12 remains closed
* Mt Emma Road from 87th St E to Cheseboro Rd remains closed
* Palmdale Blvd from 70th St E to 90th St E remains closed
* Avenue S from Longview Rd to 165th St E remains closed
* Avenue T from Longview Rd to 165th St E remains closed
Please find alternate routes around these road closures. It is unknown at this time when these roads will reopen.
Los Angeles County Public Works closed several roads in the Antelope Valley this week due to a large volume of water crossing the roadways.
Although it may appear as though the water is not that deep and not flowing that fast, it can be misleading. In addition to the risk of vehicles getting swept away in the water and requiring the occupants be rescued, there is an unknown amount of damage to the underlying roadways that is occurring. At any time the road way could give out and put drivers at risk.
Please use alternative routes through the area and do not cross flooded roadways. Avenue T is open and has a bridge over the waterways. Roads are expected to remain closed due to anticipated storms this coming week and continued run off from the mountains as snow melts.
