Anain Robles Seeks to Represent Palmdale's District 3

PALMDALE, CA — For Anain Robles, Palmdale is more than the city she calls home. It is where she grew up, graduated from high school, raised her family, built a business, and dedicated much of her life to serving her community.
Now, after more than three decades in Palmdale, Robles is seeking to take that commitment a step further as a candidate for Palmdale City Council District 3 in the November 3, 2026, election.
A 1998 graduate of Palmdale High School, Robles has witnessed the city’s growth and transformation firsthand. As a mother, educator, small business owner, and nonprofit founder, she understands both the opportunities and challenges facing local families.
Her journey into community leadership began long before she considered running for public office.
Building Opportunities Beyond the Classroom
Through her work in education and Mexican folkloric dance, Robles has spent years creating opportunities for young people to discover their talents, develop confidence, and connect with their cultural heritage.
In 2017, she opened Studio 8135, creating a space where children and young adults could learn, grow, and express themselves through the performing arts.
Her commitment to cultural education eventually expanded into nonprofit leadership, allowing her to reach more families through educational programs, scholarships, community performances, and international cultural exchanges.
One of her significant accomplishments has been establishing a partnership with the Universidad de Colima in Mexico, opening doors for young dancers from the Antelope Valley to participate in specialized training, cultural exchanges, and educational experiences with an internationally respected institution.
Through this collaboration, students have had the opportunity to travel to Mexico, learn from experienced instructors, and experience cultural traditions firsthand.
For Robles, these experiences represent something greater than dance. They demonstrate what can happen when local leaders build relationships, create partnerships, and seek opportunities beyond their immediate surroundings.
She believes that same approach can help Palmdale develop stronger relationships that benefit local youth, businesses, and families.
A New Chapter in Community Service
Robles’s decision to seek public office comes from the same philosophy that has guided her years of community involvement: meaningful change begins by listening.
Rather than approaching local government with the belief that she has every answer, she emphasizes the importance of asking questions, understanding residents’ concerns, and making informed decisions.
Her priorities include exploring ways to ease the tax burden on Palmdale families, encouraging local job creation, supporting public safety, expanding youth opportunities, and promoting responsible development.
As a small business owner, she understands the challenges entrepreneurs face. As a parent and educator, she recognizes the importance of safe neighborhoods, strong schools, and accessible opportunities for young people.
“Palmdale has been my home for more than 30 years. I’ve raised my family here, built my business here, and spent years working with our youth. I’m not running because I believe I have all the answers. I’m running because I care deeply about this community, and I believe our residents deserve someone who will listen, ask questions, and work hard to represent them,” Robles shares.
Rooted in the Community, Supported by Local Leaders
Unlike a traditional political career, Robles’s path to public service has been shaped by experiences in classrooms, dance studios, community events, and conversations with local families.
From organizing youth programs to collaborating with educators and community organizations, she has learned that leadership often means working behind the scenes, finding solutions, and bringing people together.
Her community contributions have earned recognition, including being honored by the Antelope Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2025.
Her candidacy has also received endorsements from prominent elected officials, including U.S. Congressman George Whitesides and California State Assemblymember Juan Carrillo, reflecting support for her leadership and commitment to the community.
While grateful for these endorsements, Robles believes that earning the trust of District 3 residents is what matters most.
Looking Toward Palmdale’s Future
As Election Day approaches, Robles hopes voters will look beyond traditional political experience and consider the value of firsthand community involvement.
Her campaign reflects a belief that local government should be accessible, transparent, and responsive to the families it serves.
Having successfully developed educational programs, established international partnerships, and created opportunities for young people, Robles hopes to bring that same determination, collaboration, and resourcefulness to City Hall.
After spending much of her life investing in Palmdale’s youth, culture, and families, she sees public office as another opportunity to give back to the city that helped shape her.
Her campaign slogan, “From Culture to Council — Serving Our Community with Heart,” represents the connection between her past work and her aspirations for the future.
For Anain Robles, this election is not simply about winning a seat on the City Council. It is about continuing a lifetime of service and helping shape a Palmdale where families, businesses, and future generations can prosper.
The Palmdale City Council District 3 election will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
