Acton, CA.- The fire is now 6% contained at 400 acres - per LA County Fire Dept The brush fire, Hawk Fire was first reported around 3 p.m. in the 35000 block of Trenmar Drive in Acton.
If you are under an evacuation warning, prepare to leave immediately if conditions worsen. Have essential items, medications, important documents and pet supplies ready.
The City of Palmdale has opened an Evacuation Shelter at Marie Kerr Park Recreation Center (2723 Rancho Vista Blvd., Palmdale, CA 93551) for residents impacted by the Hawk Fire in Acton.
The LACoFD encourages residents to remain vigilant and be prepared and ready to GO if a wildfire impacts their area.
