967 Lake LA households on Wednesday received food

Lake Los Angeles – Stephen Sorensen Park - Organizers said they gave food to 967 Lake Los Angeles households Wednesday, June 7 at the park.

This figure was provided to Chuck Bostwick in Supervisor Barger's Antelope Valley office that sponsored the event.

The line of waiting cars wound around East Avenue P and north down 170th Street.

Public Works closed the shared pathway to assure traffic safety during the event.

The organizers were aiming to give food to 900 households.

842 households received food last September at the last Sorensen distribution.
