The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.

• 6,807 New COVID-19 cases (3,605,228 cases to date)

  • Monday 12/19 – 1,218

  • Sunday 12/18 – 1,819

  • Saturday 12/17 – 3,770

• 61 New deaths due to COVID-19 (34,471 deaths to date)

  • Monday 12/19 - 20

  • Sunday 12/18 - 20

  • Saturday 12/17 – 21

• Hospitalization numbers are currently pending as we await more information from the California Department of Public Health

• More than 12,793,000 individuals tested; 25% of people tested positive to date
