37 Stores Closed on Easter Sunday


Easter Sunday is April 4, and though many are looking forward to decorating eggs and receiving festive Easter baskets, it’s guaranteed to feel a little different this year than in the past.


On Easter Sunday, many grocery stores, pharmacies and large retailers are giving their employees a much-needed (and well-deserved) day off from working on the front lines during the COVID-19 outbreak. Here is a list of the companies that announced they will close for Easter Sunday, as well as ones that will remain open.

It’s important to note that the CDC’s updated guidelines strongly encourage people to limit their grocery store trips, order items for pickup or delivery, wear masks and practicing social distancing. Also, you should wipe down shopping carts with disinfectant wipes, clean reusable shopping bags before each use and using hand sanitizer before and after going into a store.
