Palmdale, CA.- More than just a car show - join us for our 2nd annual “Crossroads of Culture” event at Vasquez Rocks!

Join us for a fun, free gathering that explores the stories behind the wheels: from early trade routes and railroad history, to the evolution of transportation that shaped not only this landscape, but the people who passed through and lived here.

Long before modern roads, Vasquez Rocks, the ancestral village of Mapipinga, was an important trade hub, where Indigenous communities traveled, exchanged goods, and built connections. For generations, this place has been a crossroads of movement, where travelers, workers, and communities helped shape the culture of Southern California for thousands of years.

This event brings those connections to life through educational exhibits, hands-on learning, fantastic displays, and stories that highlight how travel has influenced both place and identity over time.

Interested in participating? We would love to have you!
