Lake Los Angeles - Mary Hanna, President of The Lake Los Angeles Parks & Conservation Association successfully negotiated to bring back the much-anticipated annual carnival to this community at Sorensen Park.
The dates are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 24, 25 and 26, over spring break from LLA schools. The opening time for Saturday is 2:00pm and open until 9:00pm. Saturday the hours are 2:00pm to 9:00pm each day. The gates will be closed at 9:15pm each night.
Set up will be the couple of days prior to the opening night on Friday. Set up is fun to watch.
Right now, please mark your calendar for a family style fun-packed weekend right here in our own hometown and at our hometown park.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department (LASD), Parks Bureau Sheriffs and Security partnering with LLA Resident Deputy Borruel will have a high profile at the event to assure everyone has a safe and fun time at Carnival. Our LEOs want the community to have three days of family fun together.
Families from our sister communities on the east and north ends of the Antelope Valley, The Rock, The Pear and The Village are invited to join The Lake and get in on the fun.
You just never know what rides we are going to have … none of which will disappoint! Our families are sure to have fun with them all.
