Assemblyman Tom Lackey Hospitalized For Complications with Covid-19

California Assembly postpones return to Sacramento — member and staff positive for coronavirus, Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon, D-Lakewood (Los Angeles County), informed members Monday that they would not be coming back to the Capitol next Monday as originally planned, according to an email obtained by The Chronicle. A new return date has not been set.

The Assembly closed all its offices, committee hearing rooms, conference rooms and common areas this week for a deep cleaning after learning that two employees tested positive for the coronavirus.
