Crimes Against Children Detectives arrested Giovanni Dagostino of Victorville for possession of chil

Investigators from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) and the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Crimes Against Children Division (CAC), began an investigation into a cyber tip that was reported by an Electronic Service Provider (ESP). The cyber tip contained various images and videos of child pornography. Through investigation, investigators determined the child pornography was downloaded to a home in Victorville. On Wednesday, April 15, 2020, personnel from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Specialized Enforcement Detail (SED), CAC, Victorville Sheriff’s Station, NCIS and Sheriff’s Hi-Tech Division, served a search warrant at a residence in Victorville. Investigators contacted Giovanni Dagostino at the residence. At the end of an interview with Dagostino, he was arrested for possession of child pornography. Dagostino was subsequently booked into West Valley Detention Center and bail was set at $500,000.
