“I am honored to be able to serve the people of my hometown,” said Mayor R. Rex Parris. “Over the last 12 years, we have made strides in our community. We are one of the most innovative cities in the world when it comes to clean energy and have improved the quality of life for our residents. I cannot wait to continue building a City that is known for its economic and environmental sustainability, commitment to design excellence and relentless modernization.”

Parris’s opponents included Aubray McPherson, David Paul, Leslie L. Underwood, and Kurtis K. Wilson.
