Yesterday, the County of Los Angeles, in partnership with Palmdale Regional Medical Center and the City of Palmdale, opened a drive through testing site in the Antelope Valley Mall parking lot. Mayor Steve Hofbauer and City Manager J.J. Murphy were on hand to thank the staff and volunteers for their collective efforts to provide expanded testing in the Antelope Valley.
In its first day of operation at the Antelope Valley Mall site, 122 tests were administered.
Individuals eligible for testing at this time include:
Those with symptoms who are 65 and older.
Those with symptoms who have underlying chronic health conditions.
Those who are subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine period due to a confirmed COVID-19 exposure (with more than 7 days of quarantine remaining).
Testing is available by appointment only. Walk-up appointments will not be accepted. To make an appointment, visit Coronavirus Testing. Those who do not have computer access can dial 211 to schedule an appointment.
