The testing will take place on an appointment-only basis for those individuals who are deemed symptomatic of COVID-19. Individuals do not need to be members or patients of High Desert Medical Group to receive the test.

Appointments are only arranged through responding to an online questionnaire through the City of Los Angeles. The site has been expanded to include other areas within the County of Los Angeles, including the Antelope Valley. The survey can be found here: https://lacovidprod.service-now.com/rrs

Individuals eligible for testing at this time include:

•Those with symptoms who are 65 and older

•Those with symptoms who have underlying chronic health conditions

•Those who are subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine period due to a confirmed COVID-19 exposure (with more than 7 days of quarantine remaining)

The tests are available to eligible citizens from Lancaster, Palmdale and surrounding communities. The testing site is located in the parking lot of High Desert Medical Group’s main clinic at 43839 N. 15th Street West in Lancaster.

The site opens today and tests will be administered Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for people with an approved appointment.
