City Of Palmdale Road Construction Update - Week of March 30th-April 5th, 2020.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 30 THROUGH APRIL 5

GENERAL ROAD CONSTRUCTION:

1- Hillcrest Drive from East Avenue S to Plateau Road

Intermittent lane and shoulder closures on the west side of Hillcrest for street improvements which include curb BS gutter, sidewalk utility relocation, and streetlight installation.

2 -50th Street West from Avenue N to Avenue N-8

There will be lane closures on 50th Street West for street improvements. Access to Arnie Quinones Park will be closed for about 4 to 6 weeks for construction of the street improvements in front of the park.

3-Eastbound Avenue M from 4th Street East to 10th Street East

There will be Intermittent right lane closure eastbound on Avenue M for utility work for LA County.

4 - 40th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard

Intermittent lane closures for utility and sewer line installation.

5 - Avenue Q-10 and 8th Street East, within Poncitlán Square

There will be Intermittent lane closures, along with parking stalls and a portion of the park being closed for the construction of a cell tower combination flag pole.

6 - Avenue S and Westland Drive

Intermittent lane closure and flagging operation for utility installation.

7- Pearblossom Highway from 45th Street East to 55th Street East- new traffic pattern

Segment 3 reconstruction work will be on the north side of the roadway. One lane of travel for each direction will be provided on the south side of the roadway during reconstruction work. Please follow traffic control and expect delays. AV Swap Meet is accessible during construction. Please follow the detour or take an alternate route to access the site from southbound Fort Tejon Road \ SR-138 (right-in, right-out only).

8 - Rancho Vista Boulevard from 15th Street West to 30th Street West

Intermittent lane closures for street widening, which includes curb and gutter, sidewalk, street lights, traffic signal modifications, center medians, landscape, and asphalt paving.

9 - Eastbound Technology Drive from 5th Street West to the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway overpass and Carriage Way from Auto Vista Drive to Technology Drive

Intermittent lane and shoulder closures for landscape construction.
