Coroner Releases Name Of Man, 84, Found Floating Dead in California Aqueduct

The Coroner’s Office Friday released the name of an 84-year-old man found dead floating near one of the water pumping stations of the California Aqueduct in Palmdale.
The man was identified as Cesar Mendoza of Ojai, according to the coroner’s office.
The discovery was made about 5:40 p.m. Saturday in the 3600 block of Sierra Highway at Rae Street, according to Lt. M. Marion of the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station.
