City Of Palmdale Road Construction Update For The Week of Feb. 17 - 23

ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

FOR THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 17 THROUGH FEBRUARY 23

GENERAL ROAD CONSTRUCTION:



1 - Palmdale Boulevard, west of 5th Street West
There will be intermittent lane closures on Palmdale Boulevard for landscaped median renovation.



2 - Avenue Q-10 and 8th Street East, Within Poncitlan Square
There will be Intermittent lane closures, along with parking stalls and a portion of the park being closed for the construction of a cell tower combination flag pole.


3 – East Avenue M from 3rd Street East to 300 feet east of 5th Street East
Intermittent east bound number 2 lane closure for Los Angeles County water treatment plant work.


4 - Avenue S and Westland Drive
Intermittent lane closure and flagging operation for utility installation.



5 - Pearblossom Highway from 45th Street East to 55th Street East: Starting Segment 3 and New Traffic Pattern
Contractor will move k-rail on Tuesday, February 11 from 6 pm to 6 am to prepare for the reconstruction work on Segment 3. Segment 3 reconstruction work will begin on the north side of the roadway starting on Thursday, February 13. One lane of travel for each direction will be provided on the south side of the roadway during reconstruction work. Please follow traffic control and expect delays.


6 – Palmdale Boulevard/State Route138 and 40th Street East
Intermittent lane closures on eastbound Palmdale Boulevard for sewer line installation.

7 - Rancho Vista Boulevard from 15th Street West to 30th Street West
Intermittent lane closures for street widening, which includes curb and gutter, sidewalk, street lights, traffic signal modifications, center medians, landscape, and asphalt paving.



8 - Eastbound Technology Drive from 5th Street West to the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway overpass and Carriage Way from Auto Vista Drive to Technology Drive
Intermittent lane and shoulder closures for landscape construction.
