Free Tire Recycling event In The Antelope Valley.

Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger will host four free tire collection/recycling events in the Antelope Valley. Residents of Los Angeles County can drop off tires between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at Los Angeles County Public Works yards in Littlerock, Quartz Hill, Palmdale and Lake Los Angeles. The yards are at 8505 East Ave. T in Littlerock, 4859 West Ave. L-12 in Quartz Hill, 38126 Sierra Highway in Palmdale and 17341 East Ave. J, north of Lake Los Angeles. No tires will be accepted from businesses and no oversized or tractor tires. Wheel rims will be accepted. If you transport more than nine tires per trip, please obtain a tire transport form a week ahead from the state Department of Health at (626) 430-5540.
