City of Palmdale Weekly Road Construction Update.

FOR THE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 4 THROUGH NOVEMBER 10 GENERAL ROAD CONSTRUCTION: 1 – Palmdale Boulevard/State Route 138 and 40th Street East Intermittent lane closures on eastbound Palmdale Boulevard for sewer line installation. 2 – Trade Center Drive and Auto Center Drive Intermittent lane closures for utility boring and potholing. 3 – Avenue Q between Division Street and 5th Street West Intermittent lane closures for street and bridge work for the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway widening project. 4-Pearblossom Highway from 33rd Street East to 45th Street East – New Traffic Pattern Reconstruction work will begin on the south side of the roadway. One lane of travel for each direction will be provided on the north side of the roadway. Please follow traffic control and expect delays. 5 - Rancho Vista Boulevard from 15th Street West to 30th Street West Intermittent lane closures for street widening, which includes curb & gutter, sidewalk, street lights, traffic signal modifications, center medians, landscape, and asphalt paving. 6 - Tierra Subida Avenue from Avenue S to Avenue R-5 Intermittent lane closures and a flagging operation for Southern California Gas Company’s installation of a new gas line. Expect delays. 7 - Avenue R and 40th Street East Intermittent lane closures for street and shoulder work. 8 - Elizabeth Lake Road at 25th Street West Intermittent lane closures with the traffic signal being in flashing red for waterline installation. Expect delays. 9 - Eastbound Technology Drive from 5th Street West to the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway overpass and Carriage Way from Auto Vista Drive to Technology Drive Intermittent lane and shoulder closures for landscape construction. 10 - Rancho Vista Boulevard (Avenue P) at the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway bridge from 10th Street West to Country Club Lane Intermittent lane closures for potholing, conduit installation and repairs.
