Event to Empower Veteran Entrepreneurs

During National Veterans Small Business Week, the City of Lancaster, in collaboration with the Small Business Administration and Small Business Development Center, will co-host the Empowering Veteran Entrepreneurship Event. The event will focus on assisting skilled veterans in starting and expanding their small businesses. 

“The City of Lancaster is privileged to partner with both the U.S. Small Business Administration and America’s Small Business Development Center in supporting small businesses, as they are the backbone of America’s economy,” said Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris. “We are particularly proud to support the veteran community in recognition of all that they have done for our city and our nation.” This event will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the Lancaster City Hall Council Chambers. Speakers will include Lancaster Council Member and businessman Ken Mann, who will share his own secrets to success in entrepreneurship.
