Road construction update for the week of Oct. 28-Nov. 3  1 – Southbound State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway off ramp at Palmdale Boulevard Closure Starting Friday night November 1 the southbound off ramp Palmdale Boulevard (SR138) will be closed until Sunday morning November 3 for concrete paving. 2 – Avenue Q between Division Street and 5th Street West Intermittent lane closures for street and bridge work for the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway widening project. 3-Pearblossom Highway from 33rd Street East to 45th Street East – New Traffic Pattern Reconstruction work will begin on the south side of the roadway. One lane of travel for each direction will be provided on the north side of the roadway. Please follow traffic control and expect delays. 4 - Rancho Vista Boulevard from 15th Street West to 30th Street West Intermittent lane closures for street widening, which includes curb & gutter, sidewalk, street lights, traffic signal modifications, center medians, landscape, and asphalt paving. Contractor will start staging next week with traffic control scheduled for placement on the week of the September 23 to 27. 5 - Tierra Subida Avenue from Avenue S to Avenue R-5 Intermittent lane closures and a flagging operation for Southern California Gas Company’s installation of a new gas line. Expect delays. 6 - Avenue R and 40th Street East Intermittent lane closures for street and shoulder work. 7- Elizabeth Lake Road at 25th Street West Intermittent lane closures with the traffic signal being in flashing red for waterline installation. Expect delays. 8 - Eastbound Technology Drive from 5th Street West to the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway overpass and Carriage Way from Auto Vista Drive to Technology Drive Intermittent lane and shoulder closures for landscape construction. 9 - Rancho Vista Boulevard (Avenue P) at the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway bridge from 10th Street West to Country Club Lane Intermittent lane closures for potholing, conduit installation and repairs.
