City of Palmdale Road Construction Update For The Week of Sept. 23 to 29, 2019.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE FOR THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 23 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 29 GENERAL ROAD CONSTRUCTION: 1 - Closure for Avenue Q from Division Street to Carriage Way Avenue Q will be closed for SR 14 bridge work on September 20, 23 and 24 from 9am until 4 pm. Please use detour. 2 -Pearblossom Highway from 33rd Street East to 45th Street East Reconstruction work will begin on the south side of the roadway. One lane of travel for each direction will be provided on the north side of the roadway. Please follow traffic control and expect delays. 3 - Rancho Vista Boulevard from 15th Street West to 30th Street West Intermittent lane closures for street widening, which includes curb & gutter, sidewalk, street lights, traffic signal modifications, center medians, landscape, and asphalt paving. Contractor will start staging next week with traffic control scheduled for placement on the week of the September 23 to 27. 4 - Tierra Subida Avenue from Avenue S to Avenue R-5 Intermittent lane closures and a flagging operation for Southern California Gas Company’s installation of a new gas line. Expect delays. 5 - Avenue R and 40th Street East Intermittent lane closures for street and shoulder work. 6- Elizabeth Lake Road at 25th Street West Intermittent lane closures with the traffic signal being in flashing red for waterline installation. Expect delays. 7 - Eastbound Technology Drive from 5th Street West to the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway overpass and Carriage Way from Auto Vista Drive to Technology Drive Intermittent lane and shoulder closures for landscape construction. 8 - Rancho Vista Boulevard (Avenue P) at the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway bridge from 10th Street West to Country Club Lane Intermittent lane closures for potholing, conduit installation and repairs.
