City of Palmdale Road Construction For The Week of September 16 through 22, 2019

ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE  

FOR THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 16 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 22 GENERAL ROAD CONSTRUCTION: 1 - Pearblossom Highway from 33rd Street East to 45th Street East Reconstruction work will begin on the south side of the roadway. Eastbound lanes will be closed. The westbound lanes on the north side of the roadway will be split to accommodate one lane in each direction of travel. Traffic will be transitioned to the northern lanes near the start of the segment and transitioned back at the end. Expect delays. 2 - Rancho Vista Boulevard from 15th Street West to 30th Street West Intermittent lane closures for street widening, which includes curb & gutter, sidewalk, street lights, traffic signal modifications, center medians, landscape, and asphalt paving. Contractor will start staging next week with traffic control scheduled for placement on the week of the September 23 to 27. 3 - Tierra Subida Avenue from Avenue S to Avenue R-5 Intermittent lane closures and a flagging operation for Southern California Gas Company’s installation of a new gas line. Expect delays. 4 - Avenue R and 40th Street East Intermittent lane closures for street and shoulder work. 5- Elizabeth Lake Road at 25th Street West Intermittent lane closures with the traffic signal being in flashing red for waterline installation. Expect delays. 6 - Eastbound Technology Drive from 5th Street West to the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway overpass and Carriage Way from Auto Vista Drive to Technology Drive Intermittent lane and shoulder closures for landscape construction. 7 - Rancho Vista Boulevard (Avenue P) at the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway bridge from 10th Street West to Country Club Lane Intermittent lane closures for potholing, conduit installation and repairs.
