Saturday mass shootings  and the red flag law.

In the wake of a mass shooting at a high school football game in Mobile Alabama Saturday Aug 31st, 2019.

 

 Local leaders promised stricter security protocols at public school sports events.

And the Texas shooting  that leaves 5 dead and at least  21 injured Near Odessa.

The gunman drove on the highways and streets opening fire on residents, motorists and shoppers, the authorities said.


The US has seen 255 mass shootings this 2019, according to the Gun Violence Archive, a non profit organization that keep tracks on all of these incidents.

8,787 people have died and 17,463 people have been injured by firearms this year across the United State.

How do we as a society can prevent and protect ourselves, families and community from all of these acts of violence.? 

New Jersey's red-flag law takes effect Sunday, but will it help prevent gun violence?

Starting Sunday, family members and authorities in New Jersey will be able to use a new law to seek a court order to strip firearms from those considered dangerous legislation decried by gun rights groups as an end run around the Constitution.
