ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE FOR THE WEEK OF AUGUST 12 THROUGH AUGUST 18 GENERAL ROAD CONSTRUCTION: 1 - Avenue R and 40th Street East Intermittent lane closures for street and shoulder work. 2 - Elizabeth Lake Road at 25th Street West Intermittent lane closures with the traffic signal being in flashing red for waterline installation. Expect delays. 3 – Avenue M from 10th Street West to Sierra Highway Intermittent lane closures for utility adjustments. 4 - Pearblossom Highway from Fort Tejon Road to 25th Street East Intermittent lane closures for street maintenance work. Please use alternate route if possible to avoid major delays. 5- 9th Street East from Avenue Q-11 to Avenue Q-12 and Avenue Q-12 from 10th Street East to 9th Street East Intermittent lane closures for street work. 6 - Eastbound Technology Drive from 5th Street West to the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway overpass and Carriage Way from Auto Vista Drive to Technology Drive Intermittent lane and shoulder closures for landscape construction. 7 - Rancho Vista Boulevard (Avenue P) at the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway bridge from 10th Street West to Country Club Lane Intermittent lane closures for potholing, conduit installation and repairs.
