America’s Job Center of California to Host Recruitment Event for SYGMA

PALMDALE –America’s Job Center of California (AJCC), located at 38510 Sierra Highway in Palmdale, will host a recruitment event on Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 9 a.m. for SYGMA, a Sysco Company in Lancaster.

Full time positions are available. Job requirements include receive incoming product and check against purchase order to ensure accuracy, ensure all merchandise is properly tallied and a receiving date is tagged on all merchandise, ensure all slots are stocked properly and all overstock is properly stacked, pick product for routes as defined on the SWAT equipment, load product onto trailers for customer delivery, operate all company warehouse equipment in a safe and reliable manner; process orders for daily routes through the orderly receipt, pick and load product, and maintaining the warehouse in a safe and sanitary manner. Qualified applicants must have high school diploma or GED, be able to pass drug screen, be able to safely lift up to 50 lb. (frequently, the work is heavy in nature), maintain good attendance, provide references, and be able to use forklift, floor scrubber, pallet jack and SWAT. Candidates must be registered with CalJobs, possess and bring right-to-work documents, a valid ID/driver’s license and Social Security card, bring resume tailored for the position, and dress for success.
