Identification of four bodies recovered from Kern River.

Identification of bodies recovered from Kern River The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has searched for five people who went missing in the Kern River this year. Thus far, the bodies of four of the five missing people have been recovered and identified.

An 11-year-old girl from Bakersfield who fell into the river in the Keysville area on June 22 remains missing, and the search for her continues.

Both of the teenagers who went missing on June 16, 2019, have been recovered from the Kern River. The body of 16-year-old Ivan Esquivel of San Bernardino was found on June 25th. His cousin, 19-year-old Hugo Esquivel of San Bernardino was found July 3.

On July 4, 22-year-old Allan Aurelio Ramirez of Placentia went into the Kern River in the area of Keysville North, Sandy Flat Beach. His body was recovered on July 11, 2019. Also on July 4, a 20-year-old male went missing in the Kern River near Lake Ming. Jesus Alberto Perez Bautista of Sylmar was located on July 10, 2019.
