A video circulating on social media where students who attend Quartz Hill High School made deeply offensive, racially motivated comments.

A video, posted to Snapchat and than later shared on other social sites showed a student getting his face painted in what looks like blackface as other students used racial slurs in the background.  

 

A white ni***r?” someone in the video says.

Another person says, “Ooga booga n****r”  

 

The students in the video reportedly attend Quartz Hill High School in Quartz Hill. 

 

Their faces can not be shown, they are minors.

A statement from the Lancaster Sheriff's Station, 

 

Lancaster Sheriff's Station is aware of a video circulating social media where students who attend a local high school made deeply offensive, racially motivated comments.

A report was written by Lancaster Station deputies. The parties in the video are all juveniles, and our station is limited on the information we are able to provide. At this time, the investigation is ongoing.

Lancaster Sheriff’s Station diligently works hand in hand with the staff and administration at all of our Antelope Valley Union High School District schools and although this incident took place off campus, we take all matters regarding our students very seriously. .
