A male body was recovered from the Kern River.

At about 12:20pm on June 25, 2019, a member of the public located the body of a male, unknown age, in the Kern River. The body was recovered about half a mile downriver from Keysville.

The identity of the deceased will be pending confirmation and notification of next of kin by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Coroner
